I’ve been vegetarian since 1973 – someone said, “You love animals. Why kill to eat?” I’ve never looked back. This cartoon and the comments show that most people take the killing for granted. So sad.

I am not getting the choice here, from the police’s perspective. A turkey, near Thanksgiving in particular, seems like a poor choice for a hostage.
