Klan really isn’t that out of date if you’ve watched Star trek: Into The Darkness.

I get the Khaaaaaan ref. What I don’t get is why “kong” is used as a substitute word here (aside from “Khan” & “kong” sounding alike)
Is “Kong” what that bouncy thing in panel 2 is called? It’s a mistake for an artist to assume everyone shares every one of his life experiences.
