One year I decided to have a pair of ducks instead of a turkey. Our two normally docile cats went berserk and almost climbed over us as they tried frantically to get to the birds. I’ll never know what killer-gene the smell of roast duck turned on in their tiny brains.
Not so new, really; such proselytizing seems to have become part of the holiday tradition in the comics, if the past few years at least are any indication.
