RadarRecon: Wow. Thanks for the reference..Not sure what your context for it was. But I like that Brooke made sure the axe swung both ways – at the left and at the right..If I had to frame McEldowney’s comments, it would be that I fear that this is what Prickly City is degenerating into..I have complained regularly that this used to be a strip about Carmen and Winslow – a conservative and a liberal who manage to be friends, in spite of their beliefs..And the stories were usually charming enough that I didn’t mind that Carmen usually got the last laugh..For the better part of a year, this has been a comic strip about an evil bunny, and little else..I fear that Scott Stantis is falling into the same trap described in yesterday’s Pibgorn!
That said, congrats to Scott on yesterday’s Prickly City – and one of those rare situations when Winslow got the last laugh!.And I also want to thank Scott for his wonderful Thanksgiving editorial cartoon! For those who care, the punch line for that one was, describing the empty dinner table on Thanksgiving day, we are told that “everyone’s working – or shopping!”.It ain’t just the government that’s screwing things up!
