They are not going to be downing UPS planes. They must be shooting down smugglers. That’s why the Jungle Patrol are not all over this. This may be the dumbest plot ever. This is a reprint of a John Celardo strip from 1964. No doubt royalties are paid to Celardo and Burroughs estates.-It’s unclear to me whether anyone else collaberated with him on the strip. He (in my opinion) used the strip as a tour d’ force for his drawings, with perhaps a bit less regard for plots. Regardless, since we can’t change it, we might as well just sit back and enjoy it.-Meanwhile, back in the jungle . . . Where the heck are all these jewels coming from? First a crazy German tank commander snatches a box full. Now Jolly Rogers grabs a bag-full. -HeWentToJaredAGowa!
