I’ll choose invisible…that way I can’t be dragged off to go shopping.

My mom used to drag me to fabric stores as a kid. And there was nowhere to sit but the pattern counter, and a kid couldn’t sit on the stools because the ladies would make “chicken’s touchas” faces if you did. I would feel so sleepy I was about to lie down on the floor. My mom said it was because I was bored. I later found out it was a reaction to the dyes and sizing in unwashed fabrics in large quantities in an enclosed space. It still happens as an adult who likes quilting.

Amen, Earl! I might choose my father’s super power: selective hearing. Able to hear the dinner plates hit the table but not my mom asking if he wants to go to the mall.

I never understood why women do that.

Fortunately, there ain’t no one going to be dragging me off to no fabric store.

Haha! That’s how I feel when my husband drags me into Home Depot! Or Lowe’s…or NAPA… :)

I didn’t know Opal was a Rush fan…

I can relate to that, now I just stay in the car!

Or the “Women’s Wear” department.
