Ah, our annual New Year's Eve Monopoly game! Yeah, but why are we having it at Chad's house? Because my stupid sister is having a slumber party! Does Chad even play Monopoly? Of course, Francis! Everybody plays Monopoly! Who's ready for Chutes 'N Ladders? Say what? Almost everybody.

We didn’t play Chutes & Ladders, I was stuck in a never ending cycle of CandyLand with my little sister.

I wasn’t aware of this until recently, but apparently there are now special rules included in every Monopoly game for speeding things up. I always love the idea of playing Monopoly — in theory. Then, after the game’s been dragging on for two hours, the thrill is gone.
