Elizabeth: Mom - Uncle Phil's on the phone! Phil (out of frame): I wish I could come with you, Sis. Promise you'll call as soon as you know how Mom is? Elly: Of course I will. Phil (out of frame): Good - And, I'll try to get there as soon as I can! Elly: I feel so guilty. They're only a 5 hour flight away - and, we rarely see them. Phil: Sis, we're only a 5 hour DRIVE away...and, we rarely see each other!

Personally, I’d rather sit in a plane for 5 hours than drive for 5 hours!

I’m just the opposite. In a car, you are master of your domain. Stop when you need to, eat when you want, play whatever music you want. And while traffic jams can happen, it’s less likely than the long waits at the airport.
