I was 9 years old when I started mowing the lawn. Dad started me off mowing the grass around his shop (he owned a printing shop back in the 60’s/70’s). The grass had gravel mixed in, so the mower’s blade was pretty rough. But it gave me practice before I was expected to take care of the lawn at home. :)
