My brothers who went to trade school are having just as many problems with under employment and unemployment as the college graduates are. Stop playing at class warfare, fool.
I am a fossil from the previous century. Back when was graduated (technically speaking the school graduates you; it’s something that happens to you, not something you do yourself), getting a college degree was almost a sure ticket to a job provided that you got a degree in something like engineering or business.
I had some friends who could not understand why companies were not clambering to hire people with undergraduate degrees in Political Science (now there’s an oxymoron if there ever was one).
The world probably needs more plumbers and electricians than lawyers. My grandson went to tech school, works for Baltimore Gas and Electric and makes more than my banker hubby ever did,
There’s nothing wrong with being a DR, a engineer of any type, a auto mech fixing their BMW’s, the barber/ stylist cutting their hair, or the plumber fixing the others plumbing. They are all honorable work and there should be no class war fare for anyone doing honorable work. Now for politicians, that’s another story.
