Well, it’s a heck of a corner that Frank King painted Jim Scancarelli into. By any measure Walt is, what, 115 years old now? But also, he’s not really doing the sort of long-term continuities that King and Dick Moores did, so maybe he’s just not going to do the real-time aging (they’re already fudging on some points, like Joel was previously established as older than Walt and a World War I vet. I think the best solution would be to have Walt move into the Old Comic Character’s Home…hopefully Phyllis will be there waiting.
I hope they just do stories about others and NEVER have Walt die, just let him be forgotten by the next generation. They could do like they did Ada and Nina’s parents, the Clocks.

Well, Father Time only asked Walt yesterday if he was ready to go. I guess he’s not ready yet. Only time will tell when he will be ready.
