Yes.Santa Clause was a Dutch/German origin. Dec 6th was a saint’s day of St. Nick… Protestant reformation occured. No more honoring saints days. Of coure the children would miss what was done on Dec. 6th. So transfered to Dec. 25th. Father Christmas and Santa Claus was “born”.
