My next door neighbor thinks that through the power of thought he can repair liver damage from his copious amounts of beer drinking. I think the brain damage is permanent.

There is some proof that the mind does have some impact over the body though (see the placebo effect).

I’ve tried to do this to…stay positive, convince myself I’m not getting sick. Sometimes it seems to work…the other times…Do people still have ice bags like that?
