Wurst idea ever?! The first Zeppelin airships used in World War I were made from hundreds of thousands of cow intestines! Composer JS Bach wrote a cantata about the dangers of coffee addiction in the 1730s, and it was first performed in a coffee house! Mom! Clinophobia is the fear of going to bed.

This reminds me of the “Sanka” cantata by PDQ Bach.

The whole airship wasn’t made from them, they should get their facts straight. The hydrogen was held in huge envelopes made of joined intestine casings, they need about 1,500,000 just for one ship. Supply go so tight they made it impossible to get any sausage in Germany. No wurst is the worst, must’ve made for some really grump Germans

Cow intestines. What, pray tell, was the rationale?
