Lynn’s Notes

Several librarians wrote to me to protest this storyline. Seems there are too many deserving people working in libraries with the right credentials to give an opportunity like this to a volunteer.

If I were(and I stress were)anti-feminist right know would be a good time to label Elly a griping, whinning, self-serving ‘b_ _ _ _’ but since I’m not , I’ll say ‘you go girl’.

As, Nancy Reagan, would say “Just say NO” !!!

Winnipeg at the end of February? I suppose if you never had to leave the hotel it might not be a bad break from the family but I’d have to think long and hard about it.

Just ask yourself if John were offered an opportunity like this would he turn it down because of home responsibilities, the kids etc.? No way. So why should Elly? Let him find out what it’s like to take care of them for a few days. I hope Elly goes and has a good time.
