This is one of many reasons why IT professionals will always have a job!
I recently had an employee where I work panic when I told her that her monitor needed replaced. She thought all of the files on her desktop would be lost when I took the screen away. All of her little files (worshipers?)…gone!

A long time ago I read an article criticising Microsoft for setting up a “Tupperware” system of folders in which one can place a file and then lose it forever when yo go looking for it later.My experiences since then suggest the author was on to something.
