Clovis needs his outlet.

And what happened to the body? Was it fed to Robert the Plant?

Darin is looking for the body. He screams in horror as he sees Robert the Plant calmly munching on Dewey’s body.

Clovis has come in and sees Robert the Plant munching on Dewey. He wonders why he didn’t think about that.

Clovis now has one little problem. Robert the Plant has an evil look to him. Clovis decides to walk the other way.

Clovis has found Dewey’s head and has an idea. Maybe if he throws it into where Robert the plant is eating Dewey’s body, he’ll choke on Dewey’s head and won’t eat Clovis.

Clovis has looked in and sees Robert the Plant chewing on Dewey’s head. Not being able to crunch it, he throws it in the air and starts swallowing it. The plan is coming together quite nicely. Or so Clovis thinks.

Dewey’s head has gotten stuck in Robert’s throat and he starts to gag. Suddenly, he throws up all over Clovis. Clovis is not pleased.

Clovis is not happy about Robert the Plant throwing up on him. He must have his revenge. Hedge clippers come to mind.

Not being able to find the hedge clippers, Clovis grabs the next best thing, a big pair of scissors. He was going to make Robert pay for what he did.

Clovis has sneaked up behind Robert the Plant. One quick snap of the scissors and Robert the Plant is dead. RIP, Robert the plant. Clovis is satisfied at what he did and now will hibernate until a new strip is published. The end.

I take it that this strip has ended as well.

I think this is the 20th strip that has died.

Maybe if we do the same thing as we did for Mutt and Jeff for a Sunday strip , they might bring this one back to life.

Clovis is getting pissed. Let’s see if I can say that. Maybe it will get the censors attention and they will restart the strip.

I guess bad language doesn’t work. Clovis has gotten hungry and has his eyes on Darin.

Clovis is sneaking up behind Darin, who is looking worried. He doesn’t know what it is, but he thinks something is going to happen.

Darin feels a hot breath on his neck and starts to sweat. It may have saved hid life. Clovis is allergic to human sweat. He goes off in another direction. Maybe some of Robert the Plant’s children are around.

Maybe they don’t care. Maybe all they care about is getting the money from the strip..Clovis is now looking for the children of Robert and Roberta the Plant. Being young, they would be very tender and tasty. What Clovis doesn’t know is that Roberta is very protective of her children and has a secret weapon available.

Clovis has just seen one of the baby plants and is sneaking up on it for a quick bite. He doesn’t see Roberta behind him. He suddenly feels a presence. Then, roots encircle him and he is thrown out of the house.

Being thrown out of the house does not sit well with Clovis. He is normally the one who does that. He’s going to come up with a devious plan. Dewey is back. He can be the diversion.

Clovis now has his arm around Dewey and Dewey thinks that Clovis is now his friend. Poor Dewey. He doesn’t realize that he is being taken to his doom.

Clovis is at the door with Dewey. He opens the door and pushes Dewey inside, expecting to hear screams. There are no screams. Clovis slowly approaches the door.

RAD what do all those numbers you’re posting signify?

Clovis opens the door. Roberta sics her babies on Clovis and they eat him. Last comment until the next strip, if there is one.

It’s been a month. Only 11 more to go till the first birthday.

20140215 – How many of these have I stacked up? 10? Maybe soon they’ll start accruing some sort of interest.

Guess it’s time for the zombie stuff. Robert the Plant and Roberta’s babies have eaten Clovis. Clovis is pure evil and won’t stand for this. He has exploded from the babies and has started eating them. He now can not be stopped. He wants brains.

Clovis now wanders down the street, hungry for brains. He sees Dewey who is completely unaware of whats about to happen. He says “hi” to Clovis. Then, he sees the dead look in the eyes of Clovis. He runs.

Robert the Plant makes an appearance at Pinkerton today in a repeat.

Robert the Plant is seeing Pinkerton to ask him how to stop the zombie, Clovis, about how to stop him and Robert the Plant’s children from taking over the world. Pinkerton will check with Calvin.

Pinkerton and Calvin have a plan. They will get one of the T-Rex to stomp on zombie Clovis. They have to be careful, though. One false move and they they will have a zombie T-Rex. Susie won’t like that. She’s friends with that T-Rex.

20140302

Calvin is teasing the T-Rex with his space craft. The T-Rex has had enough and now is chasing Calvin. Pinkerton has sneaked up on Clovis and strapped and piece of meat on the back of Clovis. Clovis can’t reach it because his arms now won’t reach back that far. He is going after Pinkerton.

The T-Rex is stomping towards Clovis the zombie. Calvin and Pinkerton are riding on the back of the T-Rex. The T-Rex sees the meat on the back of Clovis. There is now a little problem. The T-Rex didn’t just eat the meat. Oops.

20140303

Now Calvin and Pinkerton have a problem. Clovis is working his way to the brain of the T-Rex. Once eaten, the there will be a zombie T-Rex. Calvin wonders if he should have brought Hobbes with him. The T-Rex has a hungry look.

Clovis-Rex now looks around. He sees Calvin and Pinkerton. They are frozen in fear, knowing that their brains are on the menu. Suddenly, a shadow appears. It’s Hobbes. Unfrozen from their fear, both run. Hobbes has distracted Clovis-Rex.

Hobbes has tripped Clovis-Rex to stop him from eating Calvin and Pinkerton. Unfortunately, he tripped him too soon and he fell on Calvin and Pinkerton. Clovis-Rex doesn’t know where they are. They have to get to Calvin’s spaceship. If they can get to planet X-1A, they can bring back the zombie eating aliens.

Calvin and Pinkerton are running as fast as they can to the spaceship. Hobbes is trying to distract Clovis-Rex. Only a little farther. They have reached the spaceship. Clovis-Rex has grabbed the spaceship and won’t let go. Hobbes to the rescue. He has a left over snowball. Clovis-Rex didn’t expect it.

Calvin and Pinkerton have left earth for planet X-1. They look around and realize that Hobbes has been left on earth. They make a u-turn and with rockets screaming hurl towards earth to rescue Hobbes. They hope that they aren’t too late.

The spaceship swoops down, rockets blazing. They see Hobbes in the clutches of Clovis-Rex. The sound startles him and he drops Hobbes. Stopping, Calvin starts firing his laser gun at Clovis-Rex. Hobbes jumps on board.

Calvin now guns it towards planet X-1. They must bring back the zombie eating aliens to eat Clovis-Rex. He hopes he can fit enough of them in the spaceship. They get full in two bites.

At full speed, they will arrive at planet X-1 in two hours. Calvin hopes he can get the zombie eating aliens to go back to earth with him. He also has to get home quick. He doesn’t want to miss dinner. Mom is going to a baby shower and dad has ordered pizza.

Calvin, Hobbes and Pinkerton have arrived at planet X-1. The aliens are eager to go to earth to eat Clovis-Rex. In fact, so eager that they are flying their own space craft.

Calvin and the aliens have just landed on earth. The space aliens have spotted Clovis-Rex. They are drooling at the thought of eating Clovis-Rex. Clovis-Rex is looking at them, too. The aliens look mighty tasty.

The feast has begun. The space aliens have swarmed Clovis-Rex. All you can hear are screams. It’s over in less than a minute. There isn’t one bit of Clovis-Rex to be seen. The space aliens are thanking Calvin by giving him a brand new ray gun. Then, they zoom off to their planet. Pinkerton leaves for home. Calvin and Hobbes take off for home. There is pizza waiting. The end.

Yeah? Well they better restart this strip or the aliens may have missed part of Clovis-Rex and he will come back even stronger and more hungry for human brains.

I see movement under a leaf. I don’t think it’s the wind.

The movement continues. It isn’t the wind. The space aliens didn’t eat all of Clovis-Rex. HE RETURNS.

I miss this strip.I blame Ted.

Clovis-Rex is slowly growing. He is not happy about the space aliens eating him. Calvin will pay.

Clovis-Rex is getting bigger. And, he’s hungry for a brain. Maybe he can find Darin. It won’t be much, but it’ll be a start.

Mr. Turnbloom just posted, on the FB “Imagine This” page, that he was finally finished with his graphic novel and that he’ll “see you Monday”. I’m guess that means we get new “Imagine This” strips on Monday.

Clovis-Rex is going insane. He is eating anyone in sight. Poor Pinkerton, he never had a chance. One gulp and that was it. Calvin is unaware of what is about to happen.

Clovis-Rex is now withing eyesight of Calvin’s house. He is going to get Calvin at night so that Calvin can’t call the zombie eating aliens.

Clovis-Rex has spied Calvin. He is asleep. Hobbes is close by. One silent lunge. Hobbes is eaten. Calvin wakes up. It is too late to scream. He is down the throat of Clovis-Rex.

What’s this on the horizon? It looks like a girl. Oh, my. It’s Susie and she has a ruler in her hand. Unknown to many, a Clovis-Rex is afraid of rulers. Clovis -Rex stops in his tracks. He still feels Calvin and Hobbes squirming in his stomach.

Susie doesn’t seem to be afraid. She walks up to Clovis-Rex and smiles at him. It’s something that Clovis-Rex didn’t expect. He suddenly vomits and, up comes Calvin and Hobbes. Susie’s smile has changed Clovis-Rex and he returns to Clovis. Clovis is now walking home. Hobbes, always having the last word, says to Calvin: " As I’ve told you before, Susie is the one you’ve been looking for. She is the one to spend the rest of your life with and now, you know it for certain". Calvin smiles at Susie and together, they walk back home. Hobbes smiles. Everything now will be alright.
