Ethan’s remark begs a question:Approximately what age bracket has Paige set these characters? late 20s? mid 30s? late 30s? Clearly they have some miles on them, but how many?

Jane I think is mid-to-late 20’s. Most of the characters are about the same age, with the exception of Sarge, who I think is in her late 40’s.
Dunlop’s disease is relentlessly cruel.
I lost part of my belly. Now my jeans won’t stay up. Time for new jeans.
