I wrote them a bunch of letters last year, but never in a million years thought they'd actually write me back! It's an autographed picture! Check it out: "To our number one fan, love, the Backsync Boys"! OMG! OMG! OMG! Andy: I had no idea groups had a signature. Paige: They probably all hold the pen at the same time.

music implies tune, rhythym, and poetry. Most of them can get the beat….I’ve yet to see anything else beyond that that make s sense or has any pleasing tone.

Dear Dukedoug, think I remember a young Dolenz from a Saturday morning show “Circus Boy,” but have not checked that on IMDB. In all fairness, Nesmith was a pretty good musician and songwriter despite his silver-spoon background, not exactly the standard boy-bander. Maybe The Archies is closer.

When my older daughter was 6 (she’s 11 now), she wrote a letter to Taylor Swift. At the last moment I included a simple #10 SASE, not expecting anything in return. A few months later, she received a letter in return! While the body of the letter was a computer-printed form letter (very Tayloresque in its wording), across the top, in Sharpie, was, “Dear Deborah, thank you very much! Love you, xoxo, Taylor”. My daughter’s first reaction was “SHE SPELLED MY NAME RIGHT!”, and that letter is still one of her prized possessions.

Circus Boy. He was in Circus Boy. I used to have one of the books from the series….

To call The Beatles a “boy band” is an insult to The Beatles and you might as well be relieving yourself on John and George’s graves.
“Pop Rock Band " is way more accurate.

My sister and I wrote to the Mars candy company once, because we had an idea for a Skittles ad that we just had to share with them. They replied with a form letter politely explaining that for legal reasons they can only accept advertising suggestions from their employees, but they also gave us a bunch of free stickers and two free CDs with M&M computer games.

@c.davies the Beatlers were performing for 5 years before they appeared in the US, and they wrote most of their own songs. John and Ringo were 25, George was 22, and Paul was 23.

…and it was Stephen Stills who recommended that his good friend, Peter Tork, audition.
