There is a club meeting I sometimes visit on Tuesday evenings at a local pub. I was thinking of dropping in this evening. Then the thought occurred to me, IT’S ST. PATRICK’S DAY! No way am I going to a bar on Saint Patrick’s Day.
Please, someone explain this to me and makes logical sense. Getting drunk on Saint Patrick’s Feastday, is celebrating his feastday ? Am I missing something ?
Few annual celebrations make much sense when we try to work out their overall cause, cost and effect….but our earth year would sure feel mighty long and empty without them.
