Our boys were in and out of quarantine in 5 minutes. Didn’t even get close to missing our connection to Kauai. Things have improved vastly if you have “your ducks in a row”.
Our daughter had to wait here three months because she couldn’t prove her cat had a rabies shot. It was better than being in a cage in Maui. (They are back home in Portland, lasted 14 months in Maui)
x_Tech, from last night, I’m not sorry I bought it. It’s now one of over 500 in my personal classic collection. And I keep watching TCM to come up with possible additions to that collection.
@ Dryyeppers, still got this stupid cast…they said another week to 10 days…my bones are thin and brittle…kinda like a balding mans hair…easily broken and lost forever…lol…Citizen Grog…I love anything with Carole Lombard and William Powell as well…but I guess my favorite is Myrna Loy…she went from the silents through several wars/police actions and was amazingly talented all her life…loved David Niven and Loretta Young too, but not quite as much….and yes, My Man Godfrey was better the first time around!
Wet, I don’t think much of re-makes in general as they are rarely better than the original release. This month I think they have been putting a focus on June Allison. Two of those movies that I’ve seen were remakes, including My Man Godfrey. The other was Little Women. They cast June Allison in Katherine Hepburn’s role. What were they thinking? Christopher Columbus!
I also like Myrna Loy, but of late I’ve become more partial to Jean Arthur.
I would have jumped long ago with a cargo mate like that loud mouth joker!Good Evening SUGIE and all my Citizen of Dog friends!Lots of great photos and captions today. Great redux too, ELDO!
AW GEE, WET! Sorry about your cast! But yes, as 2 Old stated, glad it isn’t worse, G/F!
I had a cast for my right wrist once, back about 14 years ago. Fell on ice in front of the State Store NO COMMENTS PLEASE, LOL!, and broke it. It was my writing hand, really created problems at work, my left hand writing was legible , but just barely!
Loved the movies with William Powell and Myrna Loy! GREAT TEAM THERE! As was Maureen O’Hara and John Wayne! Also liked David Niven, Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy were also great together, and Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.

Kind of unusual to be feeling sympathetic for Fergus. Usually he’s the antagonist and not the victim.
