Saturday morning cartoons may be dead, but comics will live on because sometimes you just need the funnies!

I want to thank all of you for your prayers and positive thoughts. My sister underwent her second surgery and came out of it as well as can be expected I suppose. The leg that they repaired a clot in yesterday, hasnt acheived circulation, so they are keeping her under sedation in hopes it will come back. (not to mention a slew of other drugs) If it doesnt within the next, well its 16 hours now, they are going to have to amputate it. There was some question about that before she even went in this time. BUT, she will live even if they do take the leg below the knee. It will be hard on her, but at least she will be alive. Everything now is a wait and see type of thing, so I am going to keep up my fervent prayers, both pleading and in thanksgiving for what God has allowed us thus far, and for her children who are right there with her, struggling and hurting. I am sorry if I went into too much detail, but I just wanted you to know how much your support and your prayers have meant to me and to my niece with whom I shared that I had people all over the U.S., Canada and probably the U.K. and other places praying for her as well because of go comics friends. Like she said, it doesnt matter who, or where, just pray, and if not for my sister, then for someone who needs your caring thoughts. Please know I appreciate you and wish you each a wonderfully blessed day.

I’ve had it with the problems I have on this sight with my tablet. Every time I comment on a commic, instead of returning to my place in the queue, I end up at the top of the queue. Every time I hit a glitch in the site (often) the tablet reloads the site. And I start at the top again. It’s a pain in the rear end.And it’s a problem with GoComics, not my hardware. I don’t have this problem at any other site I use. Every time they improve someting around here, the site gets worse. The share bar at the bottom of the comics is one example. It simply does not work. I Facebook “like” on it and the commic never ends up on Facebook. It was slowin g things down for me even back when I had a laptop. It’s dead weight.(Sorry for the rant.)And the tablet/smartphone app is also useless. You can’t comment with the app. I am forced to use the desktop version on my phone and tablet to be here. (Sorry, another rant…)Anyway, I decided to spend some money I don’t have and get me a laptop again. In the not to distant future I’ll be able to comment more. On more commics. You will all have to decide if that’s a good thing or not…: )

Thank you all for your prayers and positive thoughts. They have called in a hemotologist as they think some of the drugs she is on for Lupus may be causing the clots. Will know more later and will keep you informed. God Bless You All!

neverenoughgold, I say this portion every day.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

I am not an alcoholic, but I am told that prayer is also said at each AA meeting before the meeting starts.
