Sneakers for a sneaky little critter.

I love you Cuddles – you are so amenable. Eldo – how cute! Sneakers on the tongue would tickle.

Only if I can get some pairs of sneakers like this…

Good Afternoon Grog, Dry, Happy, Cleo, Stel, Shika, neverenoughgold & all CDer’s.

This is the middle fold up bench seat.It was totally in the way of the driver side passenger door. I need access to that door to make getting to the tie-downs on that side of the client, so i removed it.Four bolts easy. And just as easy to put it back in.

Next, i removed the front passenger seat. It just locks into and out of place with an easy release lock system.That opened up LOTS of room. I may even have one client pull up into that space. Tie-downs for a chair up there as well.

Notice my supervisor?She watched the whole operation.

The van came with all the safety equipment. Behind the First aid box is the spare tire. I also have the fold up reflective orange triangles and a set of tire chains.And, that thing lying down on the right if the first aid box is a fire extinguisher. 7lb capacity.Next to that, the white box, is a body fluid clean up kit.My supervisor aproves.

Those photos were taken before i removed the bench middle seat and the front passenger seat.

It looks good, I’m doing a good job of removing the lettering and am using a cleaner thats a lot like GooGone on the tacky being left behind. Its not going to show when I’m done.

I took my mid day client to the seawall in Depoe Bay after his breakfast.He kept repeating how cool it was to be riding in the van.“This is so cool!”“Absolute!”We watched whales in the bay and he was overjoyed. We even went into one of the shops when a little rain came onshore and talked with the proprietor. Had a blast doing just that.When we got back to his place his wife had got home from an appointment that she had this morning and came out to check it all out.After going back into the house she went into a back room alone and, I’m fairly certain, had a little cry in private.

I have been a little misty myself today. When I’m not feeling a little giddy.

You have no idea how happy i am.And, there is no way that i could have done this alone.I think that about 1/3 of the cost to make this happen came from me.All the rest, except for $500 from my boss, came from people here at GoComics that donated to my GoFundMe.
