Back when I was just 3 or 4, my mom would plunk my brother and me down in the back yard, next to the hose bib, and for the next hour or so we would happily play in the dirt and mud. Then mom would scoop us up, give us our baths, feed us lunch, and put us down for our naps. I’m 80 y/o now and I still enjoy the same routine—spend a few hours in the morning grubbing in my garden or working on my lawn, then go inside for a shower, lunch, … and a nap! The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Digging in the dirt is part of your nature. Wait till you hear about the part were you can’t resist rolling around in the garden muck. It’s going to mess up your seat in front of the television.
