Last time I checked, all of the Tea Party groups “targeted” by the IRS were able to operate as if they had approval for their 501 ( c) 4 filings through the election cycle. None of them had their applications denied.If Obama was trying to take a page from Tricky Dick, he failed miserably.
Your argument is pretty weak, IMO. The IRS didn’t stem the tide of money flowing into groups that were not affiliated with a candidate for either side. I’ve said in the past that the real problem is that no group engaging in any political activity should be tax-exempt or be allowed to hide the names of their contributors. Unlike 5 out of 9 Supreme Court Justices, I favor transparency in political contributions.

That’s because the president and its administration did not use the IRS against those that are of a different political slant.

I’m actually torn. Part of me wants Snowpocalypse to happen, too, but part of me knows that would favor the Seahawks, and I’m rooting for the Broncos.
