I have a neighbor that keeps her house at 80* and has a portable heater in the den where she sits plus she keeps a blanket on her legs and feet. I know that if I get too cold I can go there and get warm. lol
Sorry….. We haven’t used round pins since probably the 50’s. The round pins were used on 5 amp circuits whereas, these days, appliances are plugged into 13 amp circuits, with lower rated fuses as necessary. all blades are rectangular in section and thicker than US ones.

It seems that in the UK we get hot “flushes” while the US gets hot “flashes”.
