president's day stain review george washington used a dentifrice concocted of turpentine & tung oil. of course it got all over the towels. andrew jackson was known to blow his nose on the curtains. teddy roosevelt had to gnaw constantly so his incisors wouldn't grow through his skull. teethmarks are just as bad as stains. chok calvin coolidge cleaned his fish in the oval office & not too neatly. cottage cheese a big ketchup fan. richard nixon sometimes got clumsy with the bottle. george bush spit up more often than is generally known.

Andrew Jackson was also a fan of chewing tobacco, so much so he had brass spittoons installed in every room of the White House. Legend has it that his aim wasn’t all that great, however.
