Huh. Before I read the dialog I looked at the TV screen and thought the were watching an old home video featuring Frank and Larry when they were young(er).

I was reading a book about cars titled “What Makes It Tick?” My colleague quipped “I need to know what makes it splutter, cough, clang and bang”.

My wife and I watch This Old House. It’s always been my complaint (when my wife starts these gigantic projects inspired by the show) that yes, they showed us the correct way of doing things, but they DID NOT SHOW US ALL THE WAYS YOU CAN DO IT WRONG. We usually do something pretty wrong.

New Yankee Workshop led to This Old House. I may not know HOW to dovetail or rabbit corners – but I can recognize the difference! (also helps if you have the tools). .what could go wrong with following this old house… you could send in a segment titled “What to do with your Remodel after the electrical fire, burst pipes, water damage and the fourth trip to the hospital”.

That’s a cool big TV they have.
