If he wasn’t dead before, he is now!

Gee, how long is this mailman’s coma going to be?!

Head fracture, frostbitten feet, abrasions, nah he’s good. Sheesh

A water trough? Where are they? WHEN are they?

If that Mailman remembers any of this, he’s likely to change careers. Mailman to dog catcher.

That poor mail man has been dead for a while now.

He’s still alive cause he’s growing stubble. The whole ordeal has been less that 24 hours.

What state stil uses wooden sidewalks and watering troughs?

This still looks a lot like “Weekend At Bernie’s.”

Dead people don’t have 5 o’clock shadow, so he’s still alive. They’ve probably knocked the poor man out for a few more weeks, though.

If you’re unconscious for that long due to a head injury, you may as well be dead. Contrary to what you see in movies and whatnot, nobody wakes up hours after a blow to the head and is OK.

Perhaps cold water will jolt him awake.

This really is a very funny slapstick bit. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like this in a cartoon. More like TV comic shtick. (Did someone mention “Weekend at Bernie’s”?) Meanwhile, STILL ROOTING FOR THE POOR MAILMAN. WAKE UP, MAN!!!

This story line is so Steven King. How much darker will it get? That trough full of cement ?

All in a day’s work!

Well, I don’t believe the mailman is dead because of the simple fact that if he were dead, this would NOT be funny! And it’s a comic strip, after all.

Over at 9CWL Bill has been in a coma for months, acting out “It Happened one Night”

Well, he’s dead. Maybe.
