Dad: What's that? Baldo: I was thinking about giving Estella this diecast 1964 Impala for Valentine's Day. Baldo: Baldo, please... don't make that mistake. Baldo: I should have gotten the convertible right?
Well, first of all, Balodo, listen to dad, he surely know best. Seccon of all if you guys are lucky enought t have a spetial one near you, you can always go to the classics, flowers, chocolate or jewlwery and take her to a romantic diner, or , if you are hearing her or know her taste, you can always buy her clothes, perfumes a DVD or blue ray of her favorite moovie or sitcom. or something related with her interests (like a book of her favorite author or a set of paintbrushes if she paints).
Second, I do not understand the concept of gift = love and expensive gift = more love. Husband and I used to make each other’s Valentine gift, no purchasing of gift allowed. One year we both had no idea what to make the other, so we stopped the gifts. I also do not want anything for my birthday, Christmas, anniversary etc.
On the other hand I find extremely romantic the fact that since we were in college (40 years ago) he always clears the snow from my car – at college he used to have me sit warm and dry in my car while he cleared, when we were both working, I would walk outside and find he cleared my car before going to work – that’s love and the showing of it. Anyone can buy stuff.

That’s why people should buy things for themselves. We tend to give others what we like for ourselves.

First, agree with Locake.
