Oh Ellie, it doesn’t blow that much air!

She must be thrilled to have something to be unhappy about!

Pretty rude of the pastor to do that without asking FIRST. And to do all three? That is beyond rude.

Funny how the strip shows the cleric’s rudeness, but in the comments it’s all Elly’s fault.

Could be Elly with the overload of perfum is the reason why he did that.

“Could be Elly with the overload of perfum is the reason why he did that.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~. Wow! you have an amazing sense of smell! As hard as I tried, I couldn’t detect the slightest trace of perfume in this comic.

I turned one on and aimed it to blow on my face and the man next to me immediately started complaining. I was feeling light-headed and queasy, so I told him that the air was preferable to vomiting on him — he shut up.

Why in the world would anyone adjust the controls for someone else’s seat? As others have stated, that is just plain rude.

I guess he can’t see by her shivering that it bothers her? She’ll have to say it bothers her, but she probably won’t, she’ll sit and suffer lest she offend him.

Etiquette to the rescue. You smile politely, say “Oh, thank you!”, reach up and turn off your air and aim the middle one at the person who wanted it. Etiquette does not require that you be a victim.

I dislike it when the air on the plane is aimed right on me and I immediately turn mine (only mine) off. I get cold easily, so why should I suffer? It’s pretty rude of him to adjust hers also.

Oh good grief. Only thing worse is dying of heat stroke in a world that seems intent upon overheating all interior spaces. I side with the reverend. Put a sweater on, Ellie.

Bottom line – airplane or anywhere else keep out of others personal space and always stand up for yourself. All the comments on what she should do – wear a sweater, put on a coat etc is only relevant if she is complaining about his vent blowing on her not her own. Take a stand Elly and reach up and shut it off. He had no right to touch it to begin with
