Their relationship affirms the idea that there truly is someone for everyone. So, Jon, if this causes her to rethink things and dump you, I’m going to be very mad at you.

Yep, that’s the problem I have with this strip, too. From a sexual economics perspective, Jon has absolutely nothing to offer. He doesn’t have money. No personality, looks, style, nothing. He doesn’t even bring someone else’s kid to the relationship, unless you count Garfield, and that is just too weird to contemplate.

I’m thinking this would make a good “Garfield Minus Garfield.”

She finds his sense of “fashion” amusing.

That’s something I have in common with Liz. I often have to gather my thoughts on a hard question. Sometimes, on a not-so-hard question.

However, something I do not have in common with her is her attraction to one of the most stupid people on the planet.
