I read about this the other day; porcupines are born with soft quills so birth is not so painful. The quills harden shortly after birth.
How long has it been since you’ve had a hot, steaming womb of porcupine? Well that’s too long!
She might be short and skinny but she’s tough. Her first baby came out sideways, she didn’t scream or nothin.
Q: How do porcupines “do it”?A: Very carefully.
