ADHD researchers have found that scheduled caffeine is effective in treating ADHD symptoms (which is in large part a sleep disorder). For that matter, 5 exercise periods a day was just as effective as Ritalim.
I never did understand the concept of an “all nighter.” If I didn’t know it the day before the exam, I certainly wasn’t going to learn it the night before. Sleep deprivation and analytical thinking don’t seem to go together.
And -so I’ve heard - god help the kid if he accidentally drops a scrap of paper on the sidewalk & is too tired to notice & pick it up: the Anti-Littering gestapo will do him on the spot.Hefty fine or even prison.
When I was in school the History teacher made us watch a stupid program and write about it. Peyton Place was on at the same time so I missed it I was mad as hell. And there were no VCR’s back then.
…no, I didn’t go to school in that kind of pressure cooker, but I’ve certainly heard about those systems. I’ve also heard that most of the kids come out thinking like robots, and often have to be “uneducated” to some degree (no pun intended) when they get into a work environment…

How do you “forget” to do you your math homework? I’ve never forgotten about it, but I may have intentionally neglected it.

No need for coffee. A bowl of Calvin’s favorite cereal should have the same effect,
