“They’ll choke on a gnat, but swallow a camel!” Haven’t heard that one before. Sounds Biblical!

Okay, just googled it: Matthew 23:24 – ""You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!" Close.

……….so if it was a quote from the Bible………

Yeah, I seem to remember seeing a painting of Moses smoking a camel cigarette

I’ve heard it said that the Bible is accurate historically, archaeologically, scientifically, and prophetically. And the fact that God’s word tells us about a savior who loves us and wants to save us (if we let him) is something too wonderful to scoff at, at least for me.

I hope this is about over. Jim has turned GA into a strip that has the most stupid characters that ever existed in comics.

Historically, the bible is only accurate from about 1000 B.C., including many details that aren’t verified elsewhere. Prophetically, only in hindsight. Scientifically, not at all.

I respectfully disagree with the comment written by Andrew6385.

“Prophetically, only in hindsight”? Read Isaiah 53. It’s a prophecy of the life of Jesus Christ, written hundreds of years before his birth. It is no small thing.
