Will Jane’s mom say, “it’s ok, I know your gay”? Will her mom say, “Oh, I’ve known that for years”? Or will Skye rush inside and tell Jane’s mom?
Now is the perfect time. If not now, when?
Actually, by the standards of lesbians I know, Jane has earned Skye’s comments.
One of the characteristics of a good fictional character is glaring flaws or great character lapses. Jane is exhibiting that here. I might add, my gay friends assure me that coming out to your parents can be quite difficult.
Also, this might be a convenient way to get ridda Skye.
