“Programmable” Remotes should come with a 12-Year-Old to set it up for you!

Ralph, popcorn isn’t nearly as crunchy as remotes!

He can still have popcorn. There’s always more than one bowl in the house.

I had to label mine. I kept getting the ones to the toilet and the front door mixed up.

TammiFunnies: Not in the size I pop. My wife may get the notion to make cookies, so the mixer bowls are out.

I always use universal remotes for all the everyday functions. The universal is not only much more convenient, it saves wear and tear on the original remotes.

I keep the original remotes together nearby, with the batteries out (to prevent damage from leaking batteries). The original remotes have all sorts of special functions that you need only occasionally. You also need them to reprogram each replacement universal remote. It’s a lot easier to replace a universal remote than it is to track down a replacement remote, for a device you bought years ago.

Looks like the remotes in my living room and den that my hubby never taught me about and how to use them for all the different things. Still don’t know how to fix the radio in the living room that got messed up when he was dying or how to use the DVR or VCR in the den.
