Transcript:
Game: Welcome to Candy Farm Dungeon! Let's play! Hint: Optional gummy tokens are available for purchase at any time for only $0.99 each. Manually sweetening a new dungeon is really tedious and can take hours. Use a gummy token to automate this task. Even the best sugar sniffers can get lost in the dark. Use one token for a torch and another two for a map. Many players find the game's shrill music to be annoying. Use five tokens to mute it. Some games have bugs that cause crashes and the loss of saved progress. Use 10 tokens to ensure this isn't one of them. Privacy important? Use 25 tokens to stop this app from accidentally sharing all of the e-mails, texts, and photos stored on this phone with the people in your address book. Jason: I meant to warn you about that game. Peter: Aaaa! How do I turn it of?! Game: Buttons sometimes break. Use 40 tokens to diagnose the problem...

My favorite game has just been upgraded to give “m-points”. Now I have 4 or 5 pages of ads to page through every time I want to play. I used to be able to relax for a minute, now it just increases my tension.

After reading the comments, I am happier than ever I don’t have a “smart” phone.

I often comment on old FoxTrot strips and/or respond to comments left by others. The problem: there’s no way for other people to see these comments/replies unless they just happen to visit that exact strip again later.
Is there a known solution here? I have a kludgey solution of my own, but perhaps someone here knows of a better tool?
I will check back on this comic strip to read your replies, and you can also email me at carter dot barry at gmail dot com.

There are times when this ‘strip’ makes less sense than one of Bucky’s tirades in ‘Get Fuzzy’ which is saying a lot ! ! !

“Oh, dear! Your bank account just got hacked! Apparently you didn’t spend the needed 99 tokens to keep that from accidentally happening!”

“Strange game. The only winning move is not to play.”

They’ve always been greedy. Didn’t they cash in our youths mentality for a buck already?

I agree. I am using mine more and more now that I’m retired. It is like a really portable computer.

Damn !! About 99.9% of games have those. Guess which one I play the most? The one that has NO ads. I know the developers have to make money, but lets concentrate on making better apps not better ads!!

Wow…. Amend. You combine 3 of the worst mobile game in such a hilarious way
Candy Farm Dungeon is an obvious paraody of…
Candy Crush Saga ( the $0.99 )Farm Ville (how the game send invites to all the people you know on facebook)Dungeon Kepper (mobile version) (soend green gems to rush own slow/stop gameplay. Watch Nerdcube on youtube for more info)

These are like these mobile game games that beg you to buy everything every 5 seconds and bombard you with adds
Tip- If you like these games but despise the adds (Like every normal person does), Turn on airplane mode, it gets rid of the adds. But remember to turn them off when your done!

Couldn’t Peter just turn down his phone volume to fix the music bug?
