Item one: The bunnies are so Republican that Scott or Eric or whoever is in charge had to out-and-out tell us that they were the Clintons..Now, it looks like they’re trying to drag Joe Biden into this brouhaha. But it’s no secret that he’s not really running and that, even if he did, he doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance of succeeding (alluded to in panel 2)..My point: The bunnies are not very funny. They aren’t very informative, either. Bottom line: The bunny strips are going nowhere!.Item two: For those who think I unfairly criticize this strip and ignore the faults of a certain Canadian, guess again..I have not read Doonesbury in so long that I hadn’t noticed that, two weeks ago, Doonesbury went off the air! Indefinite hiatus, I think the words were..Doonesbury is gone, except for Sundays!.Kind of like this strip.
So don’t read the strip anymore. Losing you as a reader isn’t going to cripple the strip. No one is forcing you to read it. I have seen you unfairly criticize bother the strip and Scott. If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.
By the by, I do compliment Scott on his good strips, in case no one had noticed. Saturday’s strip was fabulous, and most of his Sunday strips are pretty good, as well..As for me, I keep hoping for a strip that expresses conservative topics with intelligence..It used to be this strip.
Also interesting that today’s strip garnered no comments until mine – then, the only responses are trash mine..Proving my point to the point..Cest la vi.
NG49: Yeah, I’ve heard that, too. But what I can’t figure out is why? Surely, even he knows he isn’t going anywhere. All this would seem to do is solidify Hillary’s edge – should she decide to run..Unless there is a chance that she won’t run, in which case neither party has a viable candidate!
