Laura: What are you watching? Adam: "The Good Wife", good wife. Laura: Groan. Adam: I'm getting concerned about this storm. Laura: What storm? Adam: Look at the radar. This thing looks bad. There could be tornadoes. So I went ahead and put blankets, flashlights and pillows in the bathroom just in case. Plus the weather radio. Laura: Adam. You're watching an episode I DVR'd last May. Adam: The Memorial Day sale ads should have tipped me off.

It is less work. Same number of syllables, but with less effort to form the sounds.

Hubby made this same mistake with a snowstorm, He’s recorded something, and there was a scrolling alert bar for a blizzard, that had happened a week before. Of course, with the weather being what is has been, it’s not surprising.

Poor Adam. This is funny! Our weather was definitely better last May than it is now. I say recorded and I record The Good Wife but don’t wait that long to watch it. He’s in for some surprises.

And I wouldn’t be surprised if some still say “VCR’d”.On the subject of being fooled by an old weather report, my local newspaper’s really awful website has many of it’s old articles still linked and one of them that I hadn’t seen before was warning of a huge winter storm with 10 inches of snow(this was just last weekend). After a bit of “verification”, I realized it was a late February article.

not really, it’s more precise and doesn’t imply that there’s a physical recording (disc or tape) that’s portable.

Some say Tivo’d
for those who record but fail to watch it later, Leave-o.
I tend to do that with movies, I have 3 saved to DVR that I have not yet watched, but I will, someday.
