I am going right now to pay whatever it takes to get Oliver out of there and deliver him to Linda, who will love and care for him, the way he deserves.
I was just thinking this is all kind of opposite….of course we want Annie or the other cats to rescue Oliver…
But this is a pet store, not the pound. The owner would try to sell him to someone who wants him.
We don’t want to break up our kitty family.
But in most animal stories, since Oliver lives in a cold, damp, drafty warehouse….and Annie’s grandparents refused to let him come home with her to their house….. wouldn’t we be rooting for him to find some loving family with a nice, warm home?
But that would be an altogether different strip… and we’d miss him too much.
Don’t worry folks Oliver is safe and sound with me!Actually this is Poodle Boo, one of our first rescue cats, we had two, but when the severe cold weather hit last month the 3 feral cats (one is a midget Calico) that we feed and provide a small heated outdoor shelter for suddenly decided to move inside with us and be civilized. Amazingly they have better manners, are litter trained, and are sweet and playful and even tempered. PB hisses at all of them and is generally anti-social to them. We love them all even though we cannot afford to keep them.
Also, great pictures again today. I always try to see if I have a favorite but it’s just too hard. Poodle Boo’s eyes are beautiful. Love the cat yelling Annie too. Good luck Oliver.

And… speaking of “missing” ….. so good to see you, Linda…. and great news!
Hope it’s going well, and you really will be home very soon!
Glad you finally saw Fenton with one of his cards…. he just had to come see you, in spite of my being chastised for bringing a dog here that day.
LOL…(and thanks, PerkyCat)

Oh dear! I hope Annie comes to get Oliver out of there. Or Chesney and Jack realize Oliver is still back there and go back to pull a “heist”.
Good morning Linda!
