Two four six eight.. Who do we appreciate? The first green shoots of spring!!! It might still be a little early for them, Nate. I know, Charley. I just want them to know they're very welcome when they do get here.
Spring has sprung early in England – it’s absolutely lovely today. Crocuses are over, daffs well in bloom. That true harbinger, the ice-cream van, made its rounds on Saturday. Only downside is being woken by the dawn chorus at about 5am.
Here in Barrie, Ontario, we still have about 2 feet of snow! Although, where the roads and driveways have been ploughed, the sun is melting the snow so we can see the asphalt again!
We’ve had 3 days of Glorious PacNorthwest weather and tomorrow its back to rain. Such is Spring here. I’m itching to plant, but anytime it is cloudless we have morning frost. At least husband has the garden turned and ready. Tomatoes here I come! hee hee
Spring here in northeast Wisconsin? Well, the Vernal Equinox has passed. The days are longer, the sunshine is brighter. It is 3 pm and it’s 32 degrees (0 C) with a brisk cold wind. The spring growth is afraid to come out; it was 12 degrees (-11 C) this morning.
At least most of the snow has disappeared. It wore out.

I’d appreciate a little sunshine. It’s looking too much like a northeastern November around here.
Good morning, Crew!

Got up to 60 Saturday, today it is currently 23 degrees at 11:20 am, snow on the way, then it is supposed to hit 60 again on Friday!
Good morning Crew! I’ll join you, Nate. The louder we are, the sooner Miss Spring will hear us.

Supposed to get an inch of snow in Milwaukee tonight. I don’t care…I’m not shoveling it. No shoveling after March 20.
