As for Andy, he’s a terrible footballer on the field when it comes to the brawling on the opposing team.

No wonder Chalkie can’t dodge the ball, look at their noses, they’ve been in the pub again and are three sheets to the wind. Again>

Today’s being a weak rerun of a weak episode, I might as well talk a little more “Peanuts.” Shroeder, Lucy, Linus, Sally, AND Rerun (that must be the relevancy….) all began as babies. (Technically, they all did, but you know what I mean.) Violet was about the same age as Patty, Shermy, and Charlie Brown, and was added quite early as the new girl in the neighborhood. (Both Shermy and Charlie Brown had crushes on her and a fight or two over her. That was back when Charlie Brown was quite different, more like Calvin than his later depressed loser self.) Peppermint Patty and her crew (Marcie, Franklin, Roy, and so forth) were all added as “adults”, as it were. They lived across town from Charlie Brown’s neighborhood, but it must’ve been a small town since there was so much back and forth. Snoopy, of course, was a pretty typical puppy to start out with, and then became a legend in his own doghouse.

I like spinach too, if I want to have a stomach ache for a week. Ah the joys of getting old!

Spinach is good, as are most vegetables. Sprouts are an abomination, like parsnip, beetroot and swede. I like my cauliflower raw!

    Hey, everybody!!

I just heard from Bev !!! Her eye surgery went very well, and she passed the post-op exam with flying colors! But, her eyesight is still too blurry right now to be able to see the comics. She expects to be back here in a day or two.

No, boiled is the accepted way to cook those roots..I don’t have a Swedish grandmother, but my mother would feed me with brains, heart, liver, kidneys…… I hate all of those things. My father, on the other hand, liked Asian food but I wasn’t allowed to eat it (by my mother). I’ve since learned to love food of other countries.

“Never knew those others were done as sprouts though.”.Sorry, don’t understand what you mean. Sprouts are either boiled, or sauteed, the others can be put in the bin, as far as i’m concerned.

Just wondering… Was Monty Python a snake in a past life?
