“Eskimo toe” reminds me of what my grandpa used to call a Brazil nut.

I’m just going to pretend I don’t know what you guys mean…. cos even though I’m probably the oldest of us three, I never heard that term till I was an adult, and I was shocked.

Meanwhile…. toes… is Agnes so un-PC the outer three are supposed to be Caucasian, Asian, and Native American?

Then what are the inner ones? Smurf? And who’s purple?

She might get a visit from the SADL…. The Smurf Anti-Defamation League!

Unfortunately, what one of my grandparents called Brazil nuts was a LOT more offensive than Eskimo Toes.

What impresses me is Trout reading a real book, not a comic . . .

@Dave M – Agnes reads books too sometimes. But she also reads popular culture magazines. We’ve seen her read “Pretty” and probably others. Neither one of them is afraid of reading. It’s intriguing to reflect (as @ Susan Sunshine sometimes has) what’ll they’ll be like when they grow up.

I wonder what people in Brazil call Brazil nuts.

When I read “Eskimo toe”, I immediately thought of “Eskimo pie” and then wondered what “root beer” and peach juice would taste like. Must remember to pick up some root beer next week.
