I bought some cheap metal forks, spoons, etc at a local thrift shop. Used them at work. If they were lost, or someone borrowed one, that was ok. Easy enough to get another. So much better than using that plastic junk at lunch.
I saw a photograph of something like a knork that was made for a man who lost a hand in the Civil War.
