Stopping by with a message…(I meant to post it earlier…. but I kinda… you know…. was resting my eyes…. a little bit…. sorry…)
Anyway…. Ms. Beviek asked me to let you all know that she’s fine…but her vision is still a bit too blurry for her to use the computer.
She misses the comics, though….and expects to be back very soon.
PS.. to Affi….Stargazers are not “engineered” …. they’re ancient…Scientists would have no reason to “invent” a nasty, stinging, venomous creature like the Northern Stargazer….it’s only edible if you can avoid being shocked or poisoned when you catch one.
Lots of common food fish, over the millennia, have also evolved eyes on top or on one side of their bodies and swim looking up…. including flounder, sole, plaice and halibut.Ugly things, all, but delicious.
Ok, goodnight to all, like me, who are going to bed….(though I may be the only one up this late)…
I’ve never been a fan of musicals, but Paint Your Wagon was one of the few that I liked. Maybe just because of the sheer lunacy of having Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood singing.
Andy reminds me more of a tumblin’ tumbleweed……if tumbleweeds tumbled into canals at a prodigious rate, that is. The old copper tub (water not included unless brought in by buckets) was always much funnier. I think Andy’s world works best with less modernity (also better jokes and art, but I’m giving up whining about those kinds of things for Lent. I even gave up vodka—but that was more to hack Putin off!)

My Senior High School 3 day class trip to Washington, DC. Second night there, they took us to a fancy restaurant and then the movies, yep, the DC Premiere of Paint Your Wagon! If memory serves me correctly there were over a 100 of us. I have a picture of the entire Senior Class in front of the Capital. I should dig it out of my memory box.
I doubt if anyone has those, these days……. they probably sacrificed Buster’s old bedroom to make a bathroom. I remember the old tin bath from when I was 3ish, back in the 50’s.There was a living room, and a kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms and a toilet, upstairs…… I think the toilet was upstairs, but I was young. We definitely had one and it wasn’t outside..Outside the kitchen window (at window level, behind a retaining wall) was a field. We had a front garden but nothing else.
ELDO, YOU MEAN LIKE THIS,??? ENJOY BUDDY! AND NOW I AM HUNGRY AND GETTING READY TO GO “SLEEPY BYE”!* GEEZ. I hope my tummy doesn’t “growl me to sleep” LOL!

Singing while bathing yourself and sober is best, not in the street late at night while intoxicated.

A wandering star is out of orbit. Andy is out of orbit most of the time. (when he isn’t in the canal)

I’m sure he sounds nothing like Lee Marvin…..or Clint Eastwood for that matter

Does Andy sing that song any better than Lee Marvin did?

Andy wanders in the bathtub. I have never moved from side too side like that. Does he sing one note? “Lives one the same street…” Never changes key?

Andy should stick to singing in the Canal.

Andy’s singing is probably better when he’s drunk.
