I came across an alternative way of the greeting ( I don’t have a way to add the marks above the Gaelic letters ): La Fheile Padraig Sona Daoibh! How is the “fh” sounded in Gaelic???

GEEZ AFFIE! PARTY POOPER!
Back IN THE DAY I was good for at least another 3 hours past 11:30 pm! LOL! I hear ya’ my Friend! SIGH! Should I put up a link to the song “Those Were the Days My Friend”?
Once upon a time there was a tavern Where we used to raise a glass or two Remember how we laughed away the hours And think of all the great things we would DO
Those were the days, my friendWe thought they’d never endWe’d sing and dance forever and a dayWe’d live the life we chooseWe’d fight and never loseFor we were young and sure to have our wayThen the busy years went rushing by usWe lost our starry notions on the wayIf by chance I’d see you in the tavernWe’d smile at one another and we’d sayThose were the days, my friendWe thought they’d never endWe’d sing and dance forever and a dayWe’d live the life we chooseWe’d fight and never loseThose were the daysOh, yes, those were the days
Gweedo you want to put up some Cricket sounds, put up the 17 Year Cicadas! I love when they come out! I hope I am still around to hear another group of them over a summer! A lot of people get thoroughly annoyed by them. I find them AWESOME AND A WONDROUS WORK OF NATURE! I am sad when they leave.
My late wife did that to a record walleye I caught. She got the trophy fish mixed up with 1/2 dozen others I brought home and cleaned and cooked ALL of them before I could clean the bass myself and take the trophy to the taxidermist. She was trying to be ‘helpful’….sigh

Doesn’t fish and chips usually feature fillets? Not a whole fish: head, scales and all?

I think Flo knew that, Andy. And she also knows how much it would have cost to have that fish mounted, and WHO would have ended up paying for it.

Well, you can use the chips to stuff the fish, Andy.
