I, being part Scandinavian, haven’t the slightest idea what they’re talking about.

Just for the record … There is NO SUCH THING a 100% any nationality. People have been moving around and intermarrying for soooooo long. And as an aside .. in my opinion there is no healthier dog than a mongrel … lots of genetic mixing and good things come from that.

Yep, the stereotype here is the tendency of Hollywood to make Jesus look pretty by Northern European standards, and skip anything he said that might be controversial (like condemnations of the pursuit of excess wealth.)

I think this refers to the movie coming out that’s like the tv show last year about Jesus.

Must be a movie about Conservative Jesus. The one who hates gay people, promotes women as property to own and rule over, snubs the poor, walks over the downtrodden to get to the money changers to make a deal, oh, and judges everyone and forgives no one of any mistake they ever made in their entire lives.

I can’t believe that in the 21st century so many people still believe in fairy tales. If a Death and Resurrection zombie god is to be your god why not Osiris or Dionysus (the Bacchus of the Romans) who preceded the myth of Jesus of Nazareth by centuries?Actually in the old myths other gods were responsible for the killing. With only one god (=monotheism) mankind has to be the executioner. Ironically mankind also is supposed to be the beneficiary of this execution. But given the Trinity it could have been a conspiracy between the Father and the Holy Ghost… Bah! A god who sacrificed himself on mankind’s behalf. Really? What kind of sacrifice is it when he resurrected (sic) three days later? Why three days and not two or four?

I see that the Pastor of the Westboro Church has died. Bet the look on HIS face was priceless!
