All my life I’ve had to deal with this. Allergies make me slow and stupid, itch, eyes swell shut. Most drugs don’t work, those that do make me slow, stupid and sleepy. Got pneumonia one year when I was pregnant and didn’t want to take the drugs. My ex-husband used to mock me like this. One reason why he’s ex.

Water softener? Me no understand.

My brain is a seething mass of advertising slogans and jingles going back to radio times, but I don’t remember “Calgon, take me away”. Interesting Wiki article, though, on the product and company history, if you find that sort of thing interesting.

Sad, sad. So few remember :“Calgon Take me away!”

You have a strange since of “evil”. Commericals are just trying to sell a product. Nothing wrong with that.
