I grew up in Brooklyn in the 1950’s. In the mid-70’s I lived in S. Cal. I tried to teach the kids who lived on our street how to play stickball. Their first question was, “Where do you plug it in?”
I prefer sports in video game form. You don’t need other people, you don’t need to leave the house, and (at least for some sports)you don’t need to pay a fee every time you want to use the playing area.

And then there’s the one where you kick this ball like thing into this net like thing while other players are trying to kick it away from you!

Things have only gotten worse since then.

I like to do bowling, and I do it in real life and not in a game.

Don’t worry, Jason. I stink at real life bowling as well.
